They had a blast, wish I had got video of him driving over the log. He is 12, it's time he starts driving me around.

He wants to go on my next trip, I am going to start letting him drive the main roads and small obstacles.

    Good morning!!

    From AlabamaWX

A CHANCE TO DRY OUT: We are forecasting dry weather for Alabama through early next week. Look for a partly sunny sky today and tomorrow with highs in the mid 60s… the average high for Birmingham on March 24 is 69. The weekend will feature sunny days and clear nights, but temperatures remain below average. The high Saturday will be in the mid 60s, followed by low 60s Sunday. Mornings will be chilly… coldest morning will come early Sunday with 30s likely for most of North/Central Alabama. Some frost is likely, and colder spots will likely see a late season freeze.

NEXT WEEK: We start to warm up, as we are forecasting highs in the 70s Monday, followed by low 80s Tuesday and Wednesday. The next chance of rain will come Wednesday night into Thursday… this will be a fairly dynamic system, but it is simply too early to know if we will have a significant risk of severe thunderstorms or flooding. Dry air returns Friday… See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

    Montgomery 13.57″ (+0.06″)

    Mobile 10.69″ (-3.50″)

ON THIS DATE IN 1929: St. Louis, Missouri soared to 92 degrees; their all-time record high for March.

ON THIS DATE IN 1975: “The Governor’s Tornado” hop-scotched a 13-mile path across the western part of Atlanta during the early morning hours, causing considerable damage to the Governor’s mansion off West Paces Ferry Road. Hundreds of expensive homes, businesses and apartment complexes were damaged. Total losses were estimated at $56 million. Three people lost their lives, and the F3 tornado injured another 152. The tornado was down for approximately 50 miles, and ended in the Brookhaven area.

    Who has a 3rd Gen with 33s and 5.29s? 4.88s? @tweakit88

I want someone to video the rpm’s and shifting at 70 and 80 on the interstate.

We wind up doing a lot of highway speeds driving to camp or wheel and I don’t want my engine screaming at 80mph.

Also planning on getting a small camper soon.

I remember sitting in my Dad's lap to steer the car when I was about 10 or so. Pre-seat belt days of course.
