What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Very similar thing happened to me and I won't buy from my local toyota dealer anymore. Bought my 2017 new and was interested in one they had. Talked price and then left to think about it. Came back the next day and the salesman was off, but I talked to the sales manager and he said that was their absolute best deal. Drove 30 miles to another Toyota dealer and they had one I liked and started talking numbers. First numbers they offered were better than my local dealer and they went down from those. Got a call two days later from the local dealer salesman and told him what the sales manager said and that I got a better deal at another dealer. So their own hardball ways lost them a sale.

Haha yep! Toyota Carlsbad tried to sell me on mine and I kept saying “no go ahead and remove it” then they came back with “we’ll include it for free to better then deal” which made me laugh cause it would have cost more money for them to remove it then just let it go. Still there and still annoying at night.

 

Access original bed cover to replace my retractable one. This one works with CBI bed racks with a little modification so had to get it to keep my bed as clean as possible. I should stop spending hahahhaa

In my auxiliary switch panel, did away with rocker switches.

 

Its in the glass.. I’m insane about detailing. I’m not the only one. My dad has it in his rav4 windshield too after talking to him.

How's that new frame?

 

Well glad you mentioned this. Truck was in Alaska for the first 6 months of its life the went to Savannah Ga. So it had the factory Northern Coating on it but was in South Ga for the rest of its life. Zero rust plus I have the northern factory coating on the frame. Yes I'm aware it occurs from the inside out. I inspected frame for like 2 hours with a scope and flashlight. Owned for 2.50 years now no issues. Bought for 17.5 K 2.50 years later no issues.69K miles when bought.

 

Will that bumper effect the TSS Sensor at all?

 

Man I'd just get 0 degree rock sliders with a kickout for a bit more if I were you
