Just finished installing my kit. Set on first notch, lean spacer, carrier bearing drop, and maxtrac 1.5in block out back.

You should aim for 4.5 to 4.0 caster with aftermarket UCAs. 2.5 is Toyota factory setting

did you have much rake or any sag in the back without the airbags? I think the HD holds up to 600 with sag right?

I had the airbags before the OME's, but at 5 psi they aren't adding any lift. I don't think I would have added the bag if I got the OME's first, I did really need them with the stock pack+AAL I was running before.
Yes the HD's are supposed to provide 2" lift with a 660# constant load.

    thanks man.

I’m getting ready to do mine, and trying to decide on the back. I know I want to do some type of camper or shell in the back, so figured I may go ahead and do the medium or hd instead of an aal

it helps with the angles of the driveshaft, not really necessary but doesn’t hurt to install to make sure there’s no vibrations after lifting.

I’m running the hd pack with a snugtop, prinsu rack, and usually a couple hundred pounds of tools. It doesn’t sag, but it’s squeaky as hell. Maybe consider spending a little more for the Deaver pack. I would if I could do it again.

My Dakar pack on my old truck (Frontier) were pretty darn squeaky, when I installed the set on my Taco I used Super Lube synthetic grease on the bushings and pumped it into the lube holes (for lack of a better term) and I haven't heard a peep out them for a year now. Well I thought I was for a while but it ended up being my front radiator support bushing.

It has settled. I haven’t put a tape on it or anything, but just with my eye it’s def dead level. The tires helped with the aesthetics as well. With the stock size tires and all that space in the wheel well, it definitely made the squat appear worse than it was.
