R4T Front Bumper Caps

Has anyone installed the R4T front bumper caps?
Are they worth buying or is it better to just cut the bumper?

 

It was worth it for me. I had them painted to match for $90. Easy install. Would recommend.

Cbi t3 with low hoop. Awesome bumper! I tagged a deer the other month and it took it like a champ. Paid for itself by saving the whole front end. The bumper caps stayed in tact, other than some plastic on the inside that broke. I thought forsure the caps were going to be obliterated.

 

Wow. Sounds like the CBI is the way to go. I'm ordering the bumper caps today. I'll have to look into that bumper as well.
Hopefully you got to keep the deer.

 

Has anyone tried these with the Brutel Force Fab hybrid front bumper?

 

Worth it, I got them painted by a local shop and it matched the paint perfect. R4t didn’t have the bumper caps in my color at the time. I also have the cbi b3 front bumper and it fits perfect.

 

I had the same experience as mentioned above. I bought the R4T bumper caps and had them professionally painted at a body shop where they color-matched the paint. I knew that when I was going to install my CBI front bumper, that I would not be able to get a clean cut, so this was a great way to go for me.

 

Not for $300 unpainted! That's insane, just cur your bumper and use the $300 for some fogs

 

Used the fact that they exist in the back of my mind to allow me the confidence to take a grinder to a two year old truck . More than likely was too cheap to buy them esp painted unless i messed up really bad. They do look nice though. Could also buy edge trim to make cuts look a little better.

 

You have to cut your fender flares and wheel well covers anyway so might as well cut the bumper

Aggression towards R4T robbing yall blind! A pair of those shouldn't exceed $100.

 

I saw the price of the caps and decided to cut instead. I don't mind spending the money on nice parts, but it seemed more like price gouging in my opinion. As stated above, you'll have to cut your flare and liner yourself either way.

 

Does the lower grill bezel attach? Or does it? Does the bumper just keep the surround in place?

 

The lower grill clips have nothing to clip into. The grill clips in on the sides and has screws holding it in place at the top.

 

Anyone tried these with an ARB?
