Which truck harness 28pin connectors did you end up using the Black or Gray connector?
I also have a '20 and would hate to plug in the wrong connector and fry something.

Hay does anyone think we could get a Bluetooth remote to connect to hu? For example be able to select next track while playing music.

Hey can you tell me which canbus you have chosen in that factory settings section? The Tacoma does not seem to be an option anywhere.

I believe BT is locked down. You can't connect a controller to it, for example.

Very close to getting this Joying HU for CarPlay. My only holdup at this point is the issue with microphone quality that has been mentioned. Has anyone found a microphone that works well with it?

I just routed a supplied one to the top of the rear view mirror and clipped it the the cable. It blends well with the mirror. I have not had any complaints regarding the sound quality.

Have you used it with a call in CarPlay? I saw some discussion about the call quality being poor with CarPlay, although I’m not sure if that’s the case or just a random issue a few people have had.

I recently swapped my 12 Pro Max for a 13 Pro Max, and in limited testing the call quality seems a bit better with the same radio/mic hardware.

@Windmill, I've used carplay for calls a few times today and specifically asked if any issues to hear me. Got no complaints.

great. Thanks for the info. About to pull the trigger on this. I really just want to use CarPlay only and this seems to be the least expensive option that retains factory feel and settings.
