I have OME leafs with mine, with the 3.6" Archive Fab shackles I believe it's a non issue otherwise you just take a grinder and remove 3" of the offending leaf end and you're mint. Mine were shortened band run with the factory shackle but I have fab shackles now.

This picture best shows the shortened leaf.

Clean!! We recently got an 04 GX470 from a family member when we were pregnant last year....she couldn't get into the lifted Tacoma any longer so it was a welcome family transfer. Not convinced we'll keep it though, it's got a leaking rear main seal & a lot of crumbling weatherstripping & interior pieces. Maybe sell it & the Taco & roll it all into a newer GX460. Time, and money, will tell.

Does that mean you're selling them or looking for testers? I'm in the market - would like to try yours.

@ARCHIVE nothing to add on this? There's no mention of them on your website. Deavers are on backorder so if you've got some now I'm ready to go. I've got your HH+HC crosstube & ubolt flip #3, wouldn't mind completing the rear with those springs.

Not much to review here, pretty much mirrors what everyone else has said. The rear end (yes even with the baller Accutune setup front and rear) now feels like the best part of the truck. Hard to explain other than it makes the truck feel MUCH more stable and tied together. Need to let everything settle in for a few days and I'm sure it will ride even nicer.

The only thing I want to do now is rip that factory spare tire mount/cross member totally off the truck, box some of the rear of the frame in, and make some chromoly cross supports. Need it all to match and look pretty.

Thinking of getting hammer hangers plus stiffening up the suspension a bit when doing the swap. Any advice on adding a heavier spring or add-a-leaf and on time/price for DIY vs. shop install?

My truck has about ~250-300lbs(shell + gear) in the bed typically and a bit more on trips (perhaps max 500lbs). My friends and I are all pretty light, usually, it's my girlfriend and me (300lbs for us 2), sometimes though we'll fill up the car (750lbs for 5 people)

A visit to @greenEFSI to do the install may be worth the trip. For that little weight, I'd think that an add-a-leaf should do you well without too much lift. If you don't mind some extra lift, the 3-leaf Icon AAL may be a good option for you (you'll also need new u-bolts).

I wouldn't waste time or money on AAL, it won't do enough for weight, and I am against the method of keeping-of-the-overload-when-ya-do-a-3-leaf-AAL, it wasn't designed for that.

I recommend saving that money and putting it towards a quality full leaf pack designed without flaws, sadly rare in the aftermarket

*HINT HINT* @dschreib - DM @ARCHIVE to see if there are any of his custom leaf packs for sale for your intended weight range :D

I'm glad to keep hearing my Class 3 Deavers will pair up nicely with the Hammer hangers and 3.6 Shackles!! Looking forward to the help when fully loaded for camping.

Bought a set a few months back, just now getting around to installing. I am however confused by “stock” position where I drill another hole or Rearmost position. I am maintaining stock springs. I assume I should go with rearmost position based on their instructions. Just need a little clarification I suppose. Thanks

Also, I second that these things are incredibly well built and the packaging is OCD beyond belief. Made me think about how so many companies like Apple and Ring Cameras try to make unboxing into an experience!
