My ar9 doesn't have a LRBHO. My original one did and it never work. I think the only ones that really work are the ones built into the uppers and not the lowers. Personally I don't miss having it.
I had my barrel sent to Rudy at Macon Armory to have his cone work done so it would feed any type of ammo. I had already owned the barrel. If I were to do it over again and didn't already have the barrel, I would just buy his 8.5 directly from him.

Edit: added pic for you @CowboyTaco

Got a short video of sunday range day put together, pretty happy with the Tisas PX-9 Gen 3 for the price, so far I have 2 complaints, my grip sometimes causes the slide to lock open with rounds still in the mag, and the red dot screws are cheap and allen heads deform easy.

I love my Liberty USA. But it ultimately depends on your budget and specific needs. Mine is a 30 gun with a 1 hour 1200 degree fire rating.

I’ve got a cannon. However when I replace it I will be sure to get a safe with a backup option to the key pad. Had mine burn out a couple years ago and leave me completely stranded. Finding a replacement panel took a few weeks of digging and a couple orders of wrong parts.

    just something to think about

Same here. I currently have two safes, bigger one with electronic, smaller with combination. The electronic lock has never failed on me but it is finicky and won't accept the code if you don't enter it at exactly the right cadence. After having the combination lock for a while I can get into it just as fast as entering the code on the electronic lock 2-3 times to get it open.

Problem is most of the safe retailers around here look at you like you have two heads when you tell them you want a higher end safe with a manual combination lock. "Well all of the electronic locks are EMP protected now so I'm not sure why you wouldn't want one. I don't even know if we can order them with manual combination locks anymore. You'd have to buy it, then pay extra to switch the lock."

Don't pay to have someone else install a lock. (assuming you have access to the inside of the safe and the old lock isnt broken). Generally speaking swapping in a different lock is a simple thing to do. Long as you stick with same brand (like a S&G lock with a S&G lock) itll take maybe 30 minutes.

Electronic vs mechanical is definitely a personal preference thing. Mine are all electronic and Im not really worried about it at all.

Is this the same as the revolution/centurion line? flat locking bars instead of round?

Yup, and he stands by his work. If there's an issue, he will fix it.

If you know what barrel length you need/want, give him a call and ask what his eta will be for new stock.

Yea in my case my safe was locked shut. Granted I didnt need access to inside the safe to install the new lock. Finding one that was compatible was the main issue
