    Caging the truck increases the survivability of both you and the truck. if you loose it at speed a cage will probably let you walk away. Linking the truck will allow a lot more travel out of the rear suspension and more speed as a byproduct. This is awesome but probably not needed unless the front suspension is pulling enough travel to let you go that fast. Otherwise the truck is kind of unbalanced.

    Like I mentioned before if you link/cage the truck you will need fuel cell, race seats and so many other items. (Properly) linking a truck pretty much means a full build. You will have the truck completely torn down so many items should be replaced since its cheaper at that point anyway.
