Replaced the sport grille with a grille from an SR. Got to say I like this alot more than the honeycomb grilles!

 

So technically, I'M not doing it...but got an update from the shop on some progress (window tint, not visible in pic, doing a legal/medium tint on rear tails, and matte black vinyl wrap). Hoping that's all done by end of tomorrow, and next week it's off to get the Alu-Cab install done!

 

Wow man, that’s a job and a half! Truck looks awesome! Looking forward to your post after the Rubicon! Planning on a trip early May to Palm Springs. Told the wife we’ll take the truck, so it’s a win, win! Wheelin in the morning and dinner and drinks in the evening! Nothing as exciting as Rubicon but excited to get out after all the COVID crap! Berdoo Canyon looks fun. Hopefully my sliders will be here ahead of the trip.

You can make a weekend of wheelin at Joshua Tree to get away from the crowds. Take Berdoo canyon OUT of the park (exits on the South West side) and then take Pinkham Canyon back INTO the park (entrance is at the South side of the park).
Harder stuff is on the North end of the park, Take Old Dale road to Gold Crown road. It will exit out of the Northern park boundary and drop you onto the 62 (29 Palms Highway). The roughest one is Doberman Mine road out of the North East side of the park, You'll see it go off into the distant mountains from the intersection after Gold Crown. Fun times to be had. Enjoy.

 

It's actually a matte black, but does have that look in that shot (and might have a bit of a gray look to it).
