Yeah, when I fade to just drivers side its very low and sound only coming from the dash speaker. Passenger side is fine.

Anyone notice that toyota removed the trail special edition package from the configurator? Also, I don't know why its so hard to find out how many 2022 trail editions they planned on producing but I've only been able to find their 2021 numbers

It’s a trial vehicle at Toyota Baja. They sometimes have a mix of parts etc…

Rumor has it,that it is a hybrid drive train disguised with the old body style.

Need some help I’m looking for a tonneau cover but it seems they all fit a Tacoma but not the trail edition. I did find one roll up one but was looking for a tri fold. So I guess I’m wondering if y’all have run into the same problem or where I might be able to find one.

I dont know if there's any tri folds that work with the trail edition due to the storage boxes in the bed

Yes that’s what most say but if they use the track then I don’t know what the problem would be that’s kinda why I’m asking if anyone knows of one that works

Here's what I wrote on a different thread regarding this issue.

Based on my research, I believe the issue is the boxes. The boxes take away the clearance needed to mount a toneau to the rail system. With the boxes installed, you pretty much have like less than half an inch of clearance to the rail system. The result is that you can't physically get the bolt/washer/mounting hardware needed onto the rail.

I’m only guessing here but other than a roll-up would be the one to work. Reason not only we don’t have any room to adjust the screws on the rail with the boxes but a trifold would not allowed for the boxes to be open. My opinion only I’m thinking of a roll up or removed the boxes. So for me a roll up when I get a chance to install it.

Would you mind posting up some pictures for us to see? Specifically a general shot of the whole thing, and then with the trifold up and bed boxes open. And maybe one of how the trifold attaches to the railings. If you could, it would be greatly appreciated, good sir.

OK, I’ll see about getting some pics. It won’t be today because it’s raining here.
