MESO Puddle Light build

I’ve seen this pic floating around with @MESO name attached but was never sure if it’s real. You’re right though, would be an awesome spot to store gear

Yes it's real. Gear, cooking stuff(overlanders), Ice with beverages for tailgating, etc. As long as it fits!

Yup, there are definitely some other tail gate storage solutions out there first. But there are none available for the 3rd gen. Also, other brands use flat aluminum or steel to "box" in the tub. This is a fully molded, plastic enclosure. So we can get every inch of free space while being lighter. It will by a "hybrid" consisting of Molded plastic tub with CNC cut aluminum top/door. Something not offered anywhere on the market.

Some things were changed internally/externally on the light. But it had to fit into the existing puddle pod molds so the overall shape/LED array are the same.

No solid MSRP yet, but will definetly be cheaper than any other offerings. My goal is to come in under $399

Performance or cosmetic changes? I can't wait for this drop.. I waste waaaaaaay too much time every single day checking the website

 

This is perfect! Great idea for the use of space. Count me in! Now, have you been able to adjust for the soft closing feature on the tailgate, or will the heavier insert eliminate that entirely? As well as, I'm hoping you've still left enough room for the locking feature mechanism.
