I need to get a dent out of my bed and replace my rear bumper. That got all mangled.

you have an issue with your dash trim popping out around your radio? I remember having that same issue with my 2nd gen. PITA. I reinstalled the radio 5 times trying to get it flush so the trim would pop in and stay, never happened.

Yup! The thing I missed most about my truck while driving the RAV4 was having a stereo system that actually has balls! I have never heard a factory JBL system in a 2nd Gen Tacoma, but my friend's 2007 Camry Hybrid and my aunt's 2009 RAV4 both had factory JBL systems that kicked serious ass; My cousin, son of the aforementioned aunt, had a base model 2009 RAV4 with the standard 6-speaker system and it was okay for what it was. After having my bass-boosted system with a powered subwoofer and separate for the speakers since 2018, any unbranded factory system in an entry-level vehicle seriously sucks compared to what I've got in my truck! The only vehicle I've driven recently (besides my dad's 2018 Yukon), in which the factory stereo was up to my standards, was my friend's 2015 Mercedes CLS550.

That's actually not factory dash trim; It's a bezel that came free with the stereo I ordered on Crutchfield years ago. I lost one of the clips and getting a new one requires ordering a whole new bezel; It's only like $20 for a new one, and I don't mind ordering one, but I've been lazy! My truck has also had a ton of work done just since Thanksgiving, and that took priority; This work included the frame replacement courtesy of Toyota, and the door that just got replaced courtesy of the scrapyards insurance company. Between an alternator in December 2021, a barely-over-a-year-old battery that was ruined as a result of the alternator failure and had to be replaced in January 2022, and one of the oxygen sensors going bad also in January 2022, I've had to put probably a grand into my Tacoma since December due to parts just wearing out with age! I'm definitely going to do the dash bezel this year though!

On at least two different occasions during the week I had the RAV4, I popped the hood by mistake while looking for the fuel filler door button; Despite this, I never bothered to look under the hood until I topped off the gas tank before returning it to Enterprise earlier today...

My truck can go as low as 0W-20 (I currently run Mobil One 10W-30 Full Synthetic High Mileage Formula), but this seems like it would make Bud Light look like a high end German lager by comparison!

I never thought I'd see R134a get phased out!

The new stuff is “slightly flammable”. The article I read said Mercedes Benz is equipping their cars with automatic fire suppression. :bananadead:

My dad's 2018 GMC Yukon SLT is the first vehicle my family has ever owned tha came from the factory with R1234yf; Luckily, it is still under warranty if the A/C needs service, but my dad's old mechanic refused to service it if need be because he's older and he would have been required to take classes and buy expensive new equipment. I don't understand what the problem was with R134a!

R134a is some form of fluor-carbon and thus evil and must be eliminated. In the future don’t be surprised to find propane, butane and/or ammonia in an AC unit.

Propane actually is used as refrigerant in some applications, but what if you rear-end somebody in a vehicle with a propane-charged A/C system, the condenser ruptures, and a spark from the impact causes an explosion?!?!

Originally a BST thread called Regular Cab passenger side window; $50 until I accidentally broke the window...

My truck got about $3,000 worth of damage in an accident involving a metal pipe at a scrap metal recycling facility; The scrapyard's insurance company paid for all repairs, which included a door from a totaled donor truck! I have tinted glass, the body shop put the window from my mangled door in the donor door, and I didn't want to see this get thrown out so here it is!

Based on what they're going for online, I'd say $50 is fair for a genuine Toyota OEM window from a totaled truck! Will not ship for obvious reasons unless you know how to ship glass and are willing to pay for shipping; $50, AS-IS/WHERE-IS; Located in Warrington, Pennsylvania. PM me if interested!

Shipping can actually be done with tempered glass (most door glasses including this one) the edges are the most vulnerable however. So if you do ship to anyone just use lots of padding on all the edges like a sliced pool noodle and give enough cushion in the center too and you will be solid. If I needed or wanted a oem door glass I'd take it but I don't so I'm just here for a tip on how to ship if you find someone that needs it shipped

Also not 100% sure but I believe this should fit all 2nd gen tacomas. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they all have the same size door.

RCs have a different size door than ACs and DCs; The latter two might have the same front doors...
