So far I like it and its interesting. I had a learning experience from breathing in too much dust on a job this week. Still working on the recovery for that, but once probably won't kill me, right? Using PPE. Gotten good tips from people on here too. :)

We definitely cover a wide area so thats a possibility. Several counties and states.

Way cool! I tried my hand at concrete work a very long time ago. My favorite part was using the jack hammer. :taco:

Trucks look way better without a cap in my opinion as well. But if you do any kind of outdoors activities… once you have a cap, you will never go back. They are just too convenient.

I agree. It's only 4 bolts to remove it. I have another 04 Tacoma so if I get tired of it on this truck I'll mount it on my other one lol.

I'm using 6 clamps designed for mine. I added 2 additional clamps on the front rail too. I started reading posts on here of people saying that they can slide back if your sending it on trails. Since that's basically all the time for me I wanted to play it safer.

Qualified??? That might be a stretch, but yes, I am learning how to do that. Is it a big crack or a little crack?

You're more qualified than me! Not sure how to estimate, it's not huge, but I am worries that demo and report is going to be the answer, I'll snap a pic when I get home later, the whole porch is painted so it may just be a squirt some seam sealer in the crack and repaint repair to kick the can down the road a bit.

I know exactly where that is and I hope that I NEVER have to go anywhere near there again.

I thought that my Taco looked neeked when I sold the cap off of it last fall. Now I'm thinking that maybe a soft cap might be the ticket for me, as the cap limited to things that I could put in the bed. I simply couldn't remove the fiberglass cap by myself and I don't have a garage to make a handy hoist.

When your buddy has his girlfriend up on the mountain and wants to show her around but his 2015 80k mile Cummins Ram has a slipping trans so you take a 22yo 250k mile 4runner instead.:D
