Yes, which is convenient if you have multiple sets.

Got the Meso AC vent rings installed. A pretty easy job. The hardest part was cutting those stupid little nubs that hold the OEM rings in. After that, it was just a matter of aligning the rings so that they were all oriented the same way and getting everything back together. About 30 minutes from start to finish.

I got Cement, but in retrospect the flat black might have looked better. No matter, either way the light isn't reflecting of them and annoying me.

Nope, still not seeing the point here. Do unused sensors need to be stored at pressures above atmosphere? Pretty sure replacements devices aren't shipped that way from the factory. How do you read out the bottled ones, anyway? With a TPMS programmer?

they mean multiple sets of wheels that you dont want to buy extra TPMS sensors for, or swap them from set to set. It's pretty much just making your wheels not have TPMS, so you don't have to worry about them

Still not clear. If you don't want to put the sensors in the wheels because you have 2 or more sets of wheels, why bother keeping the sensors active? For whatever reason, my TPMS wasn't reading pressures for many months. No big deal. No flashing lights or anything, truck didn't refuse to move. Just no pressure readings.

I just added this remote unit to the 12v outlet for my winter tires and ignore the yellow light on the dash for a few months.

Oh, now it's starting to congeal... There is a yellow tire pressure warning light, isn't there. Guess I was pretty good at ignoring it.

the light stays on. People make these out of pvc pipe and just pressurize them to 35psi and throw them under a seat and the light goes away.

My spouse was not keen on the yellow light in the dash the 1st year I installed winter tires on steel rims. Then I told her how much it cost to get another set of TPMS for the winter set.
She learned to ignore the yellow light as quickly as I did after that.

Finally able to get my wheels and tires mounted today. A slight bit of rubbing on the front mud flaps but nothing the heat gun can't fix.

If you get some flat ones that might just be enough to eliminate the rubbing. I replaced my wind sails the 1st winter because they just filled up with snow and mud as well as rubbed with my wider winter tires.

I bought winter's with TPMS installed but for some reason Subaru's have to be reprogrammed twice a year to make them work. She got used to the yellow light in winter. My Mazda never cared, though it may have had Indirect TPMS instead of Direct so the modules in the wheels may have been useless from the start.

I did the 3-4 knotch on the front. I only have 15miles on them so far.
Im 2WD didn't have to mess with needle bearing.
Im still on street tires. Ill put on my rims when its time for new tires.
