I can bring exciting to your door, if by exciting you mean watching me get filthy crawling around underneath a truck while you drink free single malt and do laps on the wood chips?

Tried starting a conversation but can’t due to your settings. Wondering if you have any front or side shots with your offset. Currently have same offset with 1.25 spidertrax spacers but thinking I want to remove them.

If you consider doing homework and working on reassembly of a truck exciting then yes... You're welcome to swing by and lend a hand.:bananadead:

Haha, working in woodchips is a fantastic way to loose hardware, ask me how I know. I need to get one of those rolly deals with a big magnet on it and maybe I can find some stuff! Im gonna pull it up on the concrete for pulling the diffs out so its on a level surface and not rolling around on chips, lol.

Not exactly my definition of exciting unless something is actually on fire, then that adds an entirely new element of excitement! If I had an extra hand I would surely lend it, however I need extras myself, the 2 I have now arent enough, haha.
I pulled the LS out of my truck and tore the engine down so I can replace the piston rings and gap them for boost as well as weld the return bung into my aluminum oil pan for the turbo oil drain, was also thinking about redoing the core support in tubework to make it easier to remove as well as getting rid of a little more weight up front.

And yessir the Jeep is good to go, fully locked and ready to go. I may be going riding next weekend but thats still in the air at the moment. What's your plan for the Big Bear thing??

Drive to BB Friday night. Camp. Drink adult beverages. Convince @AY_ARONTRD @Prayn4surf to do John Bull & Holcomb. Nothing out of the ordinary. :drunk::boink:

I plan to spend my weekend searching for a clutch cable.

My Xsr700 clutch cable is frayed, and the engagement isn't correct. So far, every source i've searched is backordered until May 5, including Yamaha themselves. On the verge of doing a hydraulic clutch conversion just so I can be back riding again, because my truck is bloodletting money out of my wallet with these gas prices lol

Hi Jason and Speed Freek's San Diego BS gang.
    I am back.

To be clear, I was not trying to be banned... I had no idea why... and I didn't know I did anything wrong that would come close to getting banned for... I thought this was a BS thread???

    I am sorry!!

So, even though I have been a TW member for over 12 years with some pretty helpful and interesting posts (A-TRAC and BAJA come to mind), if I say anything funny or not about our 'great' president, swoosh, I am banned for 30 days?!

Why don't they just remove the post they don't like and then I would actually know why. Make it a teachable moment. I can't even look at anything on Tacoma World or answer private messages, when banned. Other forums (like Baja Nomad) just prevent banned members from posting, not from viewing. I do not want to live in fear. Just let me know... I am old and foolish, I guess?

So, that's all on that issue.

    Great News!
I am getting back to Baja... a friend in a Tacoma with front and rear lockers has invited me to ride with him as we return to the most difficult to drive to mission in Baja California, Santa María! Leaving Monday and back (hopefully Friday). Going down the Pacific side and returning on the gulf side. The San Felipe 250 race is Saturday April 2, so want to be gone before that mess!

Photos when I return... if I return!
    Here is a look back:
Some photos of the road to Mission Santa María, and climbing back up the Widowmaker, to leave (photos from my last two trips, 2007 & 2010):

The BF and I have been wanting to do JB and Holcomb after doing Gold Mtn a few months back. Count us in if it happens. We have a Jeep JK, sorry my Tacoma has been in the shop for 3 weeks with no ETA for a new catalytic converter. Not sure I’d want to take it on those trails anyway though lol! Any idea on where you would camp? We couldn’t get up there until later Friday though because well, work.

(assuming this is an open invite, I’m not super active on here)
