Ahh shit yeah, that's great then!

Todd mentioned a huge improvement once he removed his roof rack.

Yeah, it was a major improvement. Worst I saw with it was around 9mpg. Took it off and the worst I've seen since has been around 15mpg. Had the rack for sale for a while but no takers.

I can imagine that helps. I put it on right away so never got to find out but I use it a ton so it’s staying. I’m fine with the MPG and once I have a DD I’ll be even more okay with it. I did pass on doing a rear bumper though, just not worth it.

It's my main reason for keeping the LC without a roof rack; it's already a gas guzzling slut :bananadead:

I love the look but the gas mileage was a deal killer and why I took it off.

Speaking of extra weight and shit....this is the last pic I got of the 4R I got rid of.

I hate the wheels the guy put on it :bananadead:

And he cut the bumper, when the tires aren't even bigger.

    IMG_2762.jpg

And he put on a spacer in the rear.

Gonna need a mower with atleast a 60" deck to mow that huge front yard.

It's even worse now with a higher rear end, and extra weight sitting up top.

I knew it'd get turned into that....a mall crawler. It won't even get wheeled.

groce but at least it's not getting hacked for a clapped out rig or built half-ass. Hopefully it treats the new owner well!

Hell yea, glad you found it!

I'm on the fence about spring clamps. They work great when they're new on a new hose. But the hose wears out and they get no tension. Then as they get old the spring tension gets lost as well.

I usually replace them with hose clamps... or get fancy and use band clamps cause they don't cut into the hose if you tighten em too tight.

You'll wanna pick one of these up, it'll make taking that spring clamp off so much easier

New lid, with a much better shade module retention and suspension than my old one. Probably won’t break it trying to get the thing apart.
