I know there're dedicated threads to this, but they're intimidating so I figured I'd start here. Anyone have experience with exhaust? The decibel level of the single 3 inch with no cats is getting to be a bit much, and I'd rather listen to the supercharger whine. I have a Flowmaster 80 Series on at the moment and it doesn't seem to do much. Any suggestions? I'm guessing the correct answer is going to be going back to catted pipes, but if there are other options I'm all ears.

If it were me I would just start with a quieter muffler but I don't know if that would impact the tune/performance at all due to a change in backpressure. The supercharger thread is really gonna be your best bet.

Everyone know about the joys of https://www.fenixlighting.com/?

I have four or five of their lights and I love them. They don't break the bank and perform very well. Even better is their customer service. They typically ship within 24 hours on in-stock items. And I had an issue with one of their products. They totally stepped up and made it better than right.

I like to treat companies right that treat me right. Buy some friggin' lights!

I deleted my secondary cats when I installed the URD y pipe, and it made only a very very slight increase in the noise level. So slight that only I really noticed it for the first few days. So I would agree with Randy and think you'll get much more bang for the buck replacing the muffler.

Oh boy - now there's a topic I could discuss for hours. Ever ventured into the flashlight subreddit? Prepare your wallet if you do.

I was mistaken, I actually have the 50 series on there. This diagram is what I looked at when I was making the purchase. Maybe I got the 50 series heavy duty instead of the 50 series big block? Either way, thanks for the input. I'll take a look at what I installed.

I was a cop when the flashlight mania started. I've owned quite a few over the years. At the height of my idiocy I spent $300 on a tactical flashlight. I don't even remember what I had to have it. I'll stick with cheap but good. Especially I tend to set things down and walk away.

My exhaust is: long tube headers, catless y pipe, flow master muffler, and a resignator or glass pack. It’s pretty quiet. When at full boost, behind the truck it sounds like rushing air. I welded in a couple different mufflers and resonators trying to get it quiet and I found the flow master followed by a resonator really helped. The flow master alone was obnoxious and sounded rough, but the resonator killed the left over ill sounds.

    Edit: added a sound bite

I'm on a two week at home, two at the office work rotation. Monday was my day to return to the office. My team mate and I received an email from the boss. They need to balance the rotation. We get two more weeks at home. No office for a month. After five years of driving "over the mountain," it's a nice change.

I'm not sure why I wrote it. Wife is watching "Hoarders." Self entertainment is not always successful. :bored:

Then we should hook them up with a marathon and then go find a campfire.
