Everybody I knew including myself went to compressed air because CO2 is super cold and makes parts change shape and do weird stuff if you do a bunch of sustained shooting.

Yup co2 always seemed to ruin stuff on the high end guns

 

Personally I never got into it enough to do that.
Did love when my A5 would signal almost empty by going full auto for the last bit.
Was usually followed by a suicide run.

I have been taking my son to play airsoft. It seems that has gotten more popular than paintballing. I joined in on the airsoft last time i took him. Reminded me how old I am, but it was fun. The place we go is an old nike missile base if im not mistaken.

Yep. You had to run expansion chambers and other stuff. And you could still run into issues.
