    Less hours?

Only thing that was good about all the hours my job took, was that it didn't matter to my boss when I took them. Only the due date to support the team.

It was windy and rainy the last week or so, today and yesterday it cleared up. Not much to report other than that!

I'm always interested in bmx... if he does ship it to you shipbikes is the least expensive option. I've shipped framesets and completes all over the country.

That is an unknown, but the option to work from home is more of the norm with this company and it deals more with the design aspect of it all.
Well at least you got some rain, we desperately need it here.

Sounds good. This country would be in great shape if "managers" realized what matters is that things get done, when they need to be done, and done properly. If you can't contribute to that, Mr. Supervisor, hush and let me do the job you pay me for!

My current manager doesn’t even check in on me, schedules meetings with me and never shows up. I tell the guys what they need to get done and give direction on other things. I purposely don’t copy him on emails anymore as it’s a waste of my time anyways. If you ask him if he saw the email it’s like oh ya ya o saw that. If I don’t say anything he will ask me about it a week later even though he was copied on it….o_O

IMHO, "middle management" is the real reason for the current employment crisis. There is an old book - "The Peter Principle". One of the main tenets of the book is that people rise to their level of incompetence. And there they are!

Oh yeah, in those "life goes on things", three weeks after the Fireplace people told me that my Insert and parts had arrived, and an installer would contact me (no, they didn't give me a number, of course), I heard from them last night! Exchanged my photos for info, and will get the quote that was in the ballpark - including a delivery charge, naturally. And we'll be all set for the install...

Most bike shops also give bike boxes away for free. You just have to catch them before they end up in the dumpster. Rarely have I had to pay for a box.

When I realize that I was only a few seconds off of perfect, I'm pretty happy. Wife's was 'just how she wants it".

I’m always happy to have rain, still not used to how little we get here.
