How can I find out what factory radio I had in my truck?

I bought this truck 1.5 years ago and immediately pulled the radio and put a touchscreen in.

I want to go back to stock now, but don’t know which one was in it. Pretty sure it was non-jbl, but I still see 2 part numbers for those radios.

Are you selling your truck and want to return to stock? Look up your truck for details by VIN#. And research radios for that spec and go from there.

Yes most likely trading in. Hence the reason for going back to stock. If I was selling private owner, a buyer might see the value in the “upgrades”

regardless, I’ve seen people mention looking it up by vin, but I don’t know where to do that?

I believe CARFAX has a vin look up (google is your friend as well). If the head unit is older it may not be something to keep. Could be more of a PITA to change than trade as is.

JBL system would have a factory amp/sub behind the back seat.

Its definitely non-jbl. This is the only picture i have of before it was modified.

So when i search ebay, I have found 2 different model numbers that look like they are a fit: A51865 (86120-04180) and AD1808 (86120-04171). They look identical.

It may not matter, but figured i would ask here before i bought the wrong one.

Pretty sure the bottom radio is a 6 disc changer so if you didnt have that before, I would stick with the single disc HU like the first pic. The 6 disc changer HU has the LOAD button next to the cd slot. Likely not interchangeable if truck wasn't coded for it.

That's it! You pointed it out and i didnt even see it. I am pretty sure in the picture from my truck, it shows the load button. Which means I need the 6 disc! Thank you so much!

+++ There's a 6-disc head unit in Gen 2 For Sale forum when I was looking through there yesterday. As I recall it's located in Seattle, but shipping shouldn't be a problem. It might be $20 + shipping.
