Brake light switch keep burning out

    My 2007 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 keeps burning out brake light switch can anyone help & need color code for the brake light switch please

    What do you mean color code? Check amp draw with switch depresses to see if you have a current leakage somewhere in the circuit.

    STOCK
    Power flows from the Battery through the 10A Stop Fuse through the Green/White wire and into the Stop Light Switch. When the switch is press, power flows out through the Blue wire to the Stop Lights.

    Cheat sheet =
    Green/White wire = Power In
    Blue wire = Power Out

    Your wiring is the same you could snap a picture of your brake switch pigtail, I was gona post a picture of mine but it's different.

    Maybe we can settle for a pinout for now?
    If OP needs an actual picture, I can try to get one tomorrow.

    The plug is Blue if it has

    1 = Blue
    2. = Green/White
