    Is it ridiculous? That is a matter of one's perspective. Either way it will be awesome and the envy of many.

    I think he says: "Just don't ask me too" But yes he has no interest having bumpers has a production part. I do appreciate the quality pictures of the ones they do build.

    Shock towers are going in now, they are a little bit of a chore. Not much longer and this thing is going to be a roller. Hopefully my other 4 shocks show on time.

    I'm so glad TH400s are a lot cheaper to build. Also glad that I know how to build them myself and can just source parts.

    Down side to the 400 is you can’t run a lock up converter so trying to drive with a 4K stall on the street becomes interesting

    yes, yes it does. Way back, when I had Yank build my stall for my old Camaro. They built it so out of throttle it'd hang around 28-3200rpms. Get into the throttle and it'd flash up to 4400 real quick..
    Had to run dual of the largest transmission coolers I could find at the time to keep the heat down.
    Miss that car, was the "stupid kind" of fast back in the early mid 00's.

    True I wasn't thinking of driving on the street let alone a 4k stall.
    Still glad I know how to build them so that I don't have to pay that labor.
    Yeah but they have kinda gone by the wayside. Someone else was working on one about 10 yrs ago don't know if it ever became a thing. I know there are conversions for the glides. Some guys are running the variable converters. Since I got out of the 1/4 mile game I haven't really kept up.

    Coming along. But I hit a snag. Tom woods single piece is now too long. So I’m trying to decide if I shorten it, or go back to the 2 piece.

    How is it too long? On compression because of more up travel? Or is it coming that far forward when drooped out? It will most likely be hitting center support bearing cross member and seat belt bracket as well on compression. Unless both have been removed.

    I have to figure out how to get this thing sitting more proper before I can start figuring out how much it needs taken out. These HD’s have the truck sitting stupid proud right now. Always gotta be something that wasn’t expected lol
