The temperature here is falling, near 40, rainy and windy right now, and a light snow may be here by tomorrow. I don't know if the wife's daffodils will survive.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good afternoon all,

Started off with clear skies, but it's getting cloudy and breezy outside now. Grabbing a quick cup of coffee while I can.

Very nice! I like the brick walls and am glad to hear that they won't be painted.

    Congratulations Mark!

That's a horrible idea. What time?
They should be fine. My wife has a ton of those. In MI they would get buried under a half foot of spring time snow and do just fine.

    I like that!!!

It's for very limited time and hours and the best part - it's on MY schedule - not 8 - 4:30!!!

HR here leaves a lot to be desired!! Don't know what happened to the first person "we" wanted; but the last one - they waited too long to offer her the job - she had already gotten one. Now to just hope this one doesn't quit before she starts.

    Congratulations!!!

Thanks…I was an art teacher so…It’s a very special community. I had the opportunity to serve as their AP 3 years ago. They are a title 1 school that is about 60% free and reduced. Very low income, very high trauma, but have a history of winning awards for high levels of academic growth. Strong collaborative staff, invested parents…but didn’t do well with the impact of Covid. I was chosen because I have a SPED background with an emphasis on trauma informed practice. They also know that I have the ability to build strong relationships and clear vision and instructional leadership and support. This school was a gift. I’m honored and excited to be given this opportunity.

Oh hi, not going to sleep until the wee hours...

My phone pinged around 9pm, who the heck? Audacy radio station sent out a message, Taylor Hawkins, drummer for the Foo Fighters died about an hour before the message went out. He was 50 and a damn good straight up musician.
I liked him since he went on tour with Alanis Morrisette before the Foos then found out his daily driver is a 85' Taco so yeah, even better.

It just sucks since I don't think the Foo Fighters will play again as the Foos and of course, I just got all the tickets and transport to see them May 1st in NOLA staying a week then seeing Stevie Nicks.

Being from Seattle and watching them form then take off has a special link - and Dave Grohl bought my old 66' Ford Falcon van (yes, there is such a thing). He had it fully restored so it was worth parting with.

    Damn

We still need an unlike button but the yard is looking good.

Again, no dislike thingie though my guess is it's in really early stage? In some folks surgery has helped, not sure but hope once you get more information you can have it done and still see just fine :)

NO, NO, NO, say it isn't so! I love Taylor! :( He was the comedic relief of the Foo Fighters & a wonderful guy. He will be immensely missed by me! Incredible drummer.

    REST IN PEACE, TAYLOR
