I know I'm digging back pretty far into the day here, but... I've been busy.

I got one of these radon detectors: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Airthin...Operated-Digital-Radon-Detector-223/313732652

Good news is that its results were in line with the lab tests I got.

Bad news is that it's a constant reminder that the levels in my (unfinished) basement are still high even with the mitigation system running.

My foundation is old fieldstone and mortar and the basement opens up into dirt-floored cellar/crawlspaces, so mitigation is a steep uphill battle. It's a bummer because one of the previous owners built a decent workbench down there.

This was the number 1 requirement when they designed the 3RZ

I just replaced my spark plugs and wires and the idle is exactly as mediocre as before. Just enough wobble to make you wonder if something's wrong but not nearly enough to make you worry that something's wrong.

I fixed a burnt valve and while it runs better, it is also not perfect. I’ve just accepted it now

There was a not-insignificant amount of oil around plugs 3 and 4, so the cover needs to come off soon and I'll check the valves while I'm in there. Fingers crossed they're in good standing...

Yeah, you’re right. I used the Klein meter for the first time today and it was hot trash. Wouldn’t even detect voltage properly and kept jumping all over the place. Thought I’d save a few bucks by doing that.

I think I’ll spring for a Fluke next time. I have a nice Fluke at home but I don’t want to give it up for work.

Geez. The last two pages reminds me of a home appliance complaint thread. I’m not even gonna start about the steak cooking.

I really dig it. Ive never trusted myself to get into 2 wheels though, I feel like Id definitely do something dumb.
But that might be everyone. Looks fun.

When the boys were early teens, I got them involved in SCCA track school. I can't remember the details, but they had a type of recommended helmit. Most were Bell.

The wheels look great. I'm sure you know all about reducing unsprung rotational mass.

Yep. Not that I'm trying to shave seconds off anything, but still, lighter is always better down there, hell even on my truck, its why I got rid of the steelies.
(I had the sunroof deleted on my order as well. Added weight high up (about 70lbs) plus added complexity never had or heard of one that hasn't leaked haha.)
