One thing that I noticed with my kids and them enjoying SCCA. Time spent playing Forza Motorsports was a good thing. They already had their reactions trained for the cone signals at the track.

I'm going down to LIT to do some business with Ozark Outdoor Supply. I feel bad for them cause Walmart kind of ripped off their branding.

Open to suggestions on what to check. I just did the plugs and the old ones looked good when they came out. Valve clearances are on the short list for when I have time (which won't be for a few weeks). I don't have a compression tester available at the moment but could probably do that when I get to checking the valves. Anything else?

The truck idles comfortably at under 1k RPM (don't remember the exact number... maybe 6-8k?), it just isn't perfectly smooth. You can hear it and feel it through the gear shift (manual transmission).

For whatever it's worth, it's been like that since I got the truck over 18 months ago. The mechanic that inspected it at that time gave a clean bill of health apart from a P0420 (bad cat) code that I've been driving around with.

Do a comp test to see if ones firing harder than the others if that's the case there's nothing you can really do

No. Just specialty tools if we need them for the buses. I bought my own box and tools.

We share a lot of tools too so that’s another thing. But I like having my own meter. I have a Fluke 115 and a 323 clamp meter at home, but I don’t want to give those up for my home garage.

I would upgrade the home meter to a 87V and bring one of those to work. Unless you want a 500$ meter for work. Or a 179 but its DC isnt as accurate in miliamps.

i kinda wanna get a fluke 233 for work too

$500!? oh that’s rich, that cost more than all the tools in my work toolbox.

    Quality is pricey
Sometimes being able to measure .01 DC amps is needed and making sure its .01 and not .015 is important.
Atleast for a few things i ran across. Ik you like playing with DCstuff

or be like me at work and have multiple meters for different things. Got a meter from 150$ to 1000$ lol

@Sperrunner or someone here with a 1st Gen bed accessible, what's the width of the lip on the bedsides?

Preferably a measurement without a drop-in bed liner.
