I may have made a terrible mistake. So far I know it has oil because I see it on my driveway. 2001 with 184k miles and supposedly fresh head gaskets.

I like the go fast red edition!

Leaks can be fixed, nothing in these things is all that hard. Determining the cause might be the hardest thing... I still have a weird tick when braking.

My 91 Range Rover had leaks from everything but the driveline components. So far this just seems to be engine oil from the front lower area but I haven’t had time to really crawl around underneath and clean it up to check. Brakes need to be flushed badly, they still stop well but the pedal feel is crap and not a lot happens for the first 3/4 of the pedal travel.

So a $25 and two hour front crank seal job turned into a much more expensive radiator replacement because I slipped pulling out the stubborn old leaky seal and punched a hole in the radiator. Whoops.

You try to do right and get part numbers from the "manufacturer" and you just get fucked.. This is supposed to be an upgraded 1310 style driveshaft. Well whoever bought it originally got fucked. This one takes factory 1300 u-joints apparently..

New front driveshaft from BPUtah going in today and the verdict is.....

Little to no difference. I guess I'll tear down the front diff next..

Got to looking at new bearings and setting everything up.. Found a used rear diff for $189 and decided to just replace it. Got it in, the shaking was gone. Replaced the one brake pad that got put in backwards trying to get rid of the ticking, didnt take care of it. So I got the rear diff and a seat belt for the front passenger.

Finally got around to finishing the rear door. Added a spring to the latch and made a new door card. Started off using the original pins to mark hole locations in the cardboard, traced the old card onto the cardboard, cut out the cardboard and used it to mark out some pvc foam board, cut out the pvc and drilled/readjusted fitment and hole locations. Once I had the pvs finalized I traced all that into some aluminum diamond plate. Drilled the door for rivnuts, painted over the chrome diamond plate, and love the finished product.
