Be thorough with that pre-primer cleaning. I couldn't believe how much oil I cleaned off of mine. The cleaning rag just kept coming up black. Acetone's probably not the best solvent for the job, but it was what I had handy.

I ended up using one 15 oz can of primer, plus three 15 oz cans of Rustoleum "pro" flat black (got about two thin coats per can) and I could have kept going if I had more paint.

Well the sliders were already primed when I got them. I'll probably put another light coat of prime after I clean it off. The mounting hardware still has to be primed too.

    Thanks for the heads up

Yeah I plan on cleaning mine up since there is some surface rust on them, and painting them again before they go on.

Yeah I got most of my lift. Saw 2.5s up front, gonna get LR UCAs, rear has overkand warehouse 2.5" coils with 2.5 standard travel shocks. Im thinking of adding on at least a 1" body lift to it as well. I saw the_joshs runner and his is so nice with the 1.5" body lift.

Nice yeah I might go 35's so that's why I want the extra body lift, and I'm getting the cab mount chop this day too.
