I was listening to a podcast and this came up. An interesting point regarding the bump stops simply not being setup for it was probably a huge issue. Also if they are driving that hard with that kind of load, air bags or even hydraulic bumps may have helped.

Crazy though, that thing will need to be stretched out and reinforced big time afterwards.

I decided to go with Bilstein 6112 front and Bilstein 5160's in the back. They should fit in with your price range. Keep in mind for what ever you order there are going to be long lead times. My suspension was ordered on Black Friday and the fronts just showed up a couple weeks ago. Also there could be costs above and beyond the suspension basics like upper control arms and the front diff ecgs bushing as your lift gets up in the 2 inch range. And at the back think about a U bolt flip kit and new bump stops. Welcome to the club!

Little project I did today. Added skid plate extensions on for more coverage. Looking to protect the radiator and oil filter on the front and my catalytic converters from thieves on the rear

In late 2020 we had 3 TRD Pro tundras and 2 1794s stolen from the dealer. They didn’t have access to any of the keys (they’re locked in a RFID blocking box inside the dealer, which they also didn’t have access to). They just got in and drove away. No idea how they did it.

Key programming is the easy part as long as OBD is accessible, this sounds like the inside job, delivery truck guy, or somebody from the rail, whoever had access to inventory list.

My working theory is since the trucks were in transport mode (keyless entry disabled) they were able to force access and just program them.

Shotguns are very much legal to posess. Using it against an unarmed thief or one who isn't an immediate threat to you is very much against the law. And neither of those have anything to do with current leadership.

Castle doctrine is only a US thing.

Correct, in Canada you do not have the basic right of self defence.

    How long would that take?
You have a place to stay when you get there?
