Drove the Rubicon to work the last couple days. $40.00 in fuel for two days, my car is about half as much.

:rofl:Adam! Just say no to that one, you could be scarred for life. I had a friend one time was with a partner that gave him more than what he bargain for. Some kind of warts, I didn't ask him for a look-see but could only imagine it wasn't good.

I struck out finding an exhaust gasket in town but they have one for me Monday. Couple of parts stores had other exhaust gasket for it but not the one I needed. Give that penetrant more time to work it's magic.

Yeah. I wish that thought was sooner. I may call them shortly and see if they can get those too.
I wonder if these studs are spline type? Thinking they must be spline like a wheel stud for assembly purposes. Worst case scenario I can grab some 3/8" bolts from hardware store and use those.

Well, ain't this just about a p-i-a... The power went off at 6:42, still in the dark. Takes out the water pump too, adventures in rural living.

It isn't the least bit windy, wonder if someone hit a pole.

I live in the back corner of beyond on top of a mountain. The power is really reliable especially considering where I am.

I was in town most of the day, the lights "sagged" twice but didn't go off. The CO-OP outage map says 35 out of 675 customers out, 35 = my entire hill.

Years ago I heard a giant BOOM and the power went off, I investigated and found a violently dead squirrel below my transformer (each house has a transformer out here). The squirrel had bridged the hot and neutral poles on the 7200 volt side and blew the fuse on the pole -- blew the squirrel too...:boom:

The funny part is there had been an unusual amount - dozens of squirrels that year ripping around the yard and driving my Boarder Collie nuts, the day after the electrocution they were all gone. :tumbleweed:

Remember the Presto Hot Dogger? You stuck them on the prongs and plugged it in. Product liability wasn't such a big industry back then.

Saw this tree blocked off and in quarantine today at some shops, turns out a duck is sitting on her nest.
