You don’t think stock leds are bright ?
So I heard from the light expert guy on here can’t remember his name starts with a C I think. He said they make the lights appear bright big they cast all the light right infront of you, instead of far ahead like they are suppose to be

Installed my RCI skid today. Had a stripped bolt head on the oem skid that was a pain to get out. Even with that, it was a quick install.

Which ones are those Blacks, Black-Red, or the Alpha-Blacks? Did you pay full retail or use promo codes?

Looks great. Mine just arrived a couple of days ago, and I'm hoping to get them installed tomorrow if I can muster up enough motivation to get under the truck and pull off the skid. I was worried it would be a PITA to drill through that 3/8" steel, so I'm glad to hear it was an easy task.

Seeing yours makes me wish I'd sprung for the powder coating. I figured it would take longer to receive them and decided I would just rattle can them myself, but now I wish they were powdered. LOL

It’s the Leer “legend” I think it’s pretty much the same but only a 3 year warranty and the third brake light is red instead of clear.

I’m not sure if it’s actually driving any better yet, I did wash and vacuum it right before I went to get it and I’m really happy with how it looks so it does just feel better all around.

This week I got new Toyota alloy wheels installed to replace the steel wheels, took off the visor decals, and gave it a good wash this afternoon.

I really like the tiger stripe effect of the sun through the picket fence.
Here it is from the other side

You can see my wife's 2008 Highlander in the garage along with my Honda Rancher 4-wheeler and the trailer I use to haul it with in this picture.
I bought this truck about a month ago and I'm really happy with it. I've always had good luck with Toyotas starting back in the 1970's.

Mine came with them. Absolutely no desire to swap them, though I would recommend adjusting them down a couple degrees. They have a bad tendency to shine directly into side mirrors and after driving a hatchback for the last 8 years before getting the truck, I can say that it sucks to have a Tacoma with LED headlights behind you.

Gotta strike a balance. The further ahead you cast the light, the more likely you are to blind oncoming traffic on smaller and smaller hills. Honestly I kind of hate the sharp belt-line cutoff of "good" lights these days. The "better" they are, the more likely they are to look like high-beams coming over a hill.

    Need inputs/ideas.

After I installed aftermarket LCAs seemed like both of my tie rods are getting short I back out the tie rods almost all the way out and my toes still butterflies in. I had already adjust both cams with countless times and still won't help. Any ideas/suggestions, thanks.C34E6C9C-2C44-4CF1-B0B7-7B991D68D337.jpgbecause of the camera angles they looked ok but they're not when look directly at each tire individually.
