On the down side, I feel like I did something yesterday. On the upside, I did something yesterday.

Hello fellas… im back after heart surgery…. My taco 20th years birthday was end of february 2022… less than 114K miles now on it….all fliuds got flush and new 63K miles ago….
The story of many Toyota dealership did an Oil change this Past friday and obviously want a list of recommended things to do…. Now i got my own toyota mechanic friend and he can get all toyota parts and labor for less than dealer. … so i can get more things done w my friend with same amount of money dealer wants now.

The questions to you guys are
What else would you recommend to tackle at Once in my nxt visit to the Mechanic friend.?
In example i got this on mind ( question mark now)
    Valcover Gaskets
    Spark plugs
    Fuel filter
New Battery ( toyota brand or what u think is best ?
    Complete Timing Belt job
What extra can you change while been down doing the Tbelt job.?
    Radiator and all hoses?
Easiest way to list all part numbers may be showing Vin to dealer part department and then get them with discount either with my friend or the toyota of NY 10%0ff free shipping

anyway…. Wanna do all at Once and all OEM ..
Thanks for your time and input ,,,!,,,

Oh yeah, CarMax is on some heavy drugs

Went by there for the fuck of it one day, they were selling a brand new base model Ford (like not even cruise control) maverick for 10k over MSRP

I use it when it's available, a lot of local stores have it disabled though. The pin pad will show the tap to pay screens and I'll give a shot til the cashier tells me it's chip or swipe only
