There are WAY too many deer in Cumberland County. After many close calls, it was only a matter of time. Friday morning was my time... The damage is not too bad, but bad enough...

    :sadviolin:

Front driver side bumper cover cracked and falling off
    Fog light is MIA.
Plastic wheel well pushed in and rubbing on the tire.

In a rental Nissan Altima for the time being... :angrygirl:

As much as it pains us to see it... we want to see it

Hopefully you and everyone involved were okay, excluding the deer obviously.

I am fine. The deer is no longer with us. She is now in my neighbor's freezer and I have some backstraps coming my way.

I was just told my truck is going to be roughly 8 weeks to repair the deer damage due to supply chain issues, getting parts and short on labor...

I hope that is a LOOOOOONG estimate. I fear it is not. Any time I have had body work done, the time estimate is never met. It always takes longer.

What in the actual F!!! My rental is only covered for 30 days.

Damn that sucks. Is damage limited to the front bumper cover? Wonder if you could find someone on here installing a bullbar and buy their factory one off them quicker

    Zip tie that bitch.
Hopefully theyre just overprojecting to keep people from getting pissed. Husband needed full exhaust for his first gen tundra (200k miles on the original and it was pooched). Dealers all said 2-3 months and everything showed up in 14 days. Different parts, of course. But hopefully same deal happens for you.:notsure:

I have the OEM fogs from my '21 Sport that I replaced with Diode Dynamics. You can have them if you want.

Must be geico... just went through the same thing with my wife's 2020 Rav4. Got the rental extended to 45 days, and the car got finished on that 45th day.

I’d be informing the insurance company, this is out of your control and they should help you out.

Sadly they tell you this is all that your policy covers and tough luck.

Well, sadly it’s time to inform them you are shopping for new insurance as soon as this current situation is done. If you haven’t shopped insurance lately, it probably worth it. A few years ago, I got a quote from the same insurance company I was using, that was lower than the current policy.

Thankfully since we recently got married, I've been able to switch her to my insurance company which doesn't have that 30 day policy issue. I highly recommend AMICA, they beat the quote from USAA

Pocket the insurance money and put a CBI aluminum front bumper on! :)

Heck yeah! Then everyone would have to come up to us! Might even pull the Tacoma out for one that close. Less chance of not making it home...
