Anyone trading their Taco for a Tesla Model 3?

I like photo with your dog standing guard. There is something to be said about the Tesla model of doing repairs. I went into a local Ford service center to ask a simple question about an oil change on my RV with a Ford E-350 Superduty chassis. What a circus of bad PR.

 

I have never heard of that happening, I haven't looked for an example of this happening.

Who do you think the jurisdiction would bill?

Yes, if insurance does not cover damage to state or federal infrastructure. The owner usually gets the bill. Full coverage auto insurance might cover that cost, if the vehicle isn't fully covered the vehicle owner might get that bill. The vehicle manufacturer won't get that bill.

Seeing that a BEV fire can cause greater property damage, and requires a larger response from emergency services. That cost will be absorbed by somebody.

If you're getting a Tesla 3, you never needed a 4x4 truck with very good stock ground clearance in the first place.

 

My wifes Model 3 is a blast to drive. It has some pretty nauseating acceleration. Im waiting for an electric Tacoma that can do that.

 

Plenty for me, I think the 1st gen Nissan leaf set a bad example on battery life. When fully charged it says 71 miles, new epa rates it at 72 miles and 150 combined with the Rex. So I lost 1 mile after 56k miles
