In the rear Chevy 63s with 2.5 14 basic Fox's up into the bed a bit to keep some up travel, hydro bumps, and in the front just the basic mid travel stuff with superbumps. Have had the fronts tuned once so far, need to re valve them again now that I know what it needs.

I agree. If it were me, I’d offer 1,500 at most since they’re used. Otherwise you’re really close to buying new or can easily get a pair of new DK lower arms at that price.

The camburg is a nice product though with the uniballs in the arm pivots vs. bushings.

Hey guys quick question. I think im just not grasping the idea..

when adding bypasses, i wanted to valve the coilovers for them, but a few companies told me that i could remove the valving from the coilover, and let the bypasses do the work. Does this make sense?

My LT is set at 10/10 on the coilover and 18/12 on the bypass. You want the bypasss to do the majority of the work but not all the work.

Hmm, so if i call Downsouth, i could potentially have them sell me that valve stack? I have previously called them, but from me not understanding, i just said OK, and ended the call. Truck is still my DD, but just like to drive harder on the weekends.

but thats for LT? Or would something similar be good for a mid travel setup?

It really depends on who is doing the valving as opinions change so much. Typically, you do reduce the valving in the C/O and make the bypass do the majority of the damping. You loose the majority of low speed control with a bypass so you'll want to keep some valving in the C/O like @Airdog said in an attempt to keep the low speed control for the slower trails.

Do you have a recommendation for a valve stack that i could order from them? This is already past my knowledge level.

I really need to call again, and take some notes on what they are saying. Its going to happen, but I still want daily drivability

What bypasses do you have? Two tube? Three tube? Overlapping or staggered layout?

I'd probably go off the 10/10 in the C/O that @Airdog mentioned to start. Hard to say with so many unknowns. From my experience, some of the retailers are not the best source of information for someone that doesn't fully understand the topic. I can name a few who are great for parts, shock services, etc but customer service isn't one of their strong points.

My king 2 tube bypasses I had on my mid travel setup from Total Chaos was valved at 15/10 per the TC spec.
I consider 8/8 on the coilover to stay under the bypass

I think @Micatom33 has a similar setup to mine. I hope he can chime in to what his coilover valving is set up as

That is what i have. TC upper/lower, and King ET with no clickers. Just rebuilt ~5k ago by Downsouth.

I will also reach out to TC to see what they can recommend for valving. But thank you! I will post what they say, and I'm already leaning towards your setup, rather than removing all together.

A two tube really limits you and your ability to tune as you only have a ride, catch, & bump zone. Probably not what you want to hear but something to be aware of.

I disagree with going lighter on the C/O valving. Being on the East coast, he'll want to retain his low speed and only having a two tube bypass will limit his tunning options. An 8/8 would work well for a dedicated desert truck but I'd hesitate on a trail rig.

I have enough knowledge on the topic to get me into trouble. Just expressing my thoughts. I wouldn't rule any options out and enjoy the conversation.

It'll really come down to trial and error at the end of the day to see what works best.

The bypasses that I have were purchased with 2k miles. I am 99% sure the valving hasnt been changed.
Valving wasnt changed in my coilovers either.
