I've seen wear like this on 2nd Gens from places likes Florida and Texas, but never here in the Northeast; Super White Toyotas (not just Tacomas but all Toyotas) tend to develop a chalkiness to the paint after a decade or less from what I've seen, though...

Same truck, sitting in the exact same place, approximately 11 days later; The inspection stickers expire this month, so I'm thinking that it was brought in for state inspection and failed due to frame perforation. My truck was a unique case in that it met the parameters for a frame replacement, but had been inspected without my mechanic noticing the perforation, had valid inspection stickers (10/22), and was deemed safe to drive by the dealer while they waited nearly two months for the new frame to come in. This truck's frame looked pretty rough from what I can see, and it is no older than 2012 so it is well within the timeframe to get a new frame for free; My guess would be that this truck had significant rot and was deemed unsafe to drive...

I saw this 2010 AC TRD Off Road on the "just traded" lot behind Fred Beans Chevrolet, and die to the bumper and other body damage, thought it had been wrecked; It does have a nice dent on the passenger side, but it turns out that it just has a tubular front bumper. My guess would be that this truck is going to wholesale due to the body and damage, and also probably because it has high miles even by Tacoma standards. I've seen high mileage vehicles on discount lot at Fred Beans, and I even worked in their detail shop for almost a year, but I still can't figure out what the criteria is for selling a car themselves or sending it to a wholesale auction. The higher mileage vehicles I've seen actually go to the bargain lot at Beans are impeccable maintained and look like they have fewer miles than they actually do have...

Maybe when it was new, but it was sold by Peruzzi (the dealer where I spotted it awaiting service) at some point...

Wow I love the cab lights, but install would worry me so close to airbags.

Also love the last pic too the tail gait makes it look really cool.

When my neighbor and I ran the wire for the Bluetooth in my 2010, we came in close contact with the side curtain airbags; No issues.

That is actually a swing-open spare tire rack, and the tailgate is still there. :)

First one is funky looking. An old Roll bar in the bed would look good on her.

I definitely got a "Marty McFly" vibe from this truck; If BTTF we're made 27 years later (the white truck is a 2012), I could definitely see this as Marty's truck!
