    Depending on the ambient temp, the pressure can be much higher. At about 80*, it can be 970 psi. Being as its a stored liquid, the pressure increases logarithmacally, not liniarly. Goinng from 60* in the winter, to 120*+ in the summer, can increase the internal pressure 10 times. I wouldnt store it inside the truck, as the inside temps in the summer can reach over 160*. A truck in Texas had a CO2 tank blow up when it was inside the cab, and the resulting blast took out 5 other vehicles.

    yeah thats why I used the ~ (about math symbol) in front of the 750 :p

    Yeah its something that you for sure want to keep an eye on and not store it inside the truck all summer. To me the only time it should be in the bed is if you are planning on using it that day. if not I see no reason to always have it.

    i cant imagine a tank with over 750psi blowing up! ha i think i will go this route over a compressor

    750 psi is the low end, but the tanks are made very well. Just be sure any tank you use has been tested, and certified.

    The bottle will have a date on it. After that date you take it to a shop (welding supply shops do it sometimes) to have it re-certified.

    It it makes you feel safer a SCUBA tank is 3000psi when full and I strap that to my back lol

    Shocks got charged and one started leaking....got it taken care of though. After that lol the fitting for the resi got loose on the top of the shock body...what a mess with these things lol
