yeah, at the same time of this gm recalled over 2x as many cars for flaws. yet because now gm is partially government owned you didnt hear anything from the media or from the government. basically, yes, the government owes toyota an appology.

The last 10 seconds are the best of all. Whatever... no matter what, Toyota is gonna keep taking a shit over american cars over and over.

Even with screwing Toyota's costs, reputation and everything else, the big three still couldn't find a way to really take down Toyota like they want to.

That's like the government finding fault in Apple's iPhone, causing them to pay millions in fees/recall costs/etc. to help out a company like Qualcomm (hypothetical), then realizing they [the gov] was wrong all along.

Government not only screwed up, but wasted plenty of taxpayer dollars (probably more than $50 million), took forever, and still came up empty meanwhile their expected beneficiaries are still offering incentives to buy their vehicles, while Toyotas sell without a problem... Color me oh so surprised

I haven't been the biggest fan of fox news lately, but they're absolutely right on this one. Toyota got screwed...washington jumped the gun by making any accusations without hard evidence. They should've waited for this study to finish before saying anything about toyota, but they didn't. Sounds like slander to me.
