Yup same here got 12 months service on the 4runner Friday at the largest dealer in AZ and they had zero new half of the normal used. Had a corvette, palisade, caravan and Lexus coupe on floor. Did have three used sequoias guess gas prices got the the prior owners.

Ha… guess I skipped a few pages… so now that raises the question what does “claimed” mean? There is no listed ETA on the spec page…

Maybe, talked to the BIL tonight at dinner, he is an engineer with Toyota. Things are not looking good for the foreseeable future. This mess with Ukraine is not helping the chip shortage, and that could be the least of our problems.

Toyota is just being realistic, They could take your order and never deliver if that would make you feel better. They are producing what they can with the parts they are able to get. all manufactures are dealing with the same thing.

Real VIN was assigned this week. Put a deposit on an “inbound allotment” and was told mid April but in the days of Amazon Prime, I’ve been spoiled. Just impatient. :D

Shift points primarily, if you aren't pulling trailers or driving in the mountains its not much of an issue. The MT has better gears for low end torque. My 2005 MT had no problems pulling 10k plus, (would occasionally pull 12k short distances when hauling the tractor). No way in hell I would try that with my 2016 AT 4Runner.

I mean, at the end of the day, this isn't all that far off...most of us drive with out butt-dyno, not actual real-world numbers.

Personally It seems like a big difference to me, I guess a lot of it depends on how you use your truck.
