I like that. Some days, I wish my Tacoma had a longer bed.

I checked the local listings out of curiosity. Nothing '79-80 on Craigslist, but this caught my eye...

When I filled up the truck today, I noticed that the pump's auto-shutoff overfilled the tank just a bit. When it clicked off, some gas sloshed out of the fill neck. I've never noticed that happening before today.

I know that overfilling (especially manual "topping off") can foul the evap system/charcoal canister.

Is the pump's slow reaction to a full tank a possible sign of something wrong in the truck, or should I just find a different place to buy gas?

    Welding a new bumper.

Requires pulling off the factory one, so I took the time to undo the aftermarket fog lights and random wires.

That's how I feel about TIG welding.

I'm hoping to pile up some aluminum coupons, not to mention buying weld-it-yourself projects, and just focus on nothing but aluminum at the house.

After I get a good feel for things, I've got a project to finish for a member on here.

I like how the first one is very clearly staged since how tf would you not notice a phone attached to the passenger door facing you directly

Damn, too bad you're not nearby.

I get powder coating done at work for free, though I've only had small things done.

Using a spool gun on aluminum is way easier than doing TIG, if you're needing to get something done right away.

I got zero welding done this weekend. Didn't even unplug the dryer. Even if I wasn't depressed about the coolant puddle from my 04 both my roommates were washing/drying clothes all day.

Next rent house I'm going to ask the landlord if I can pay to have a 220 outlet installed in the garage.
