    Im guilty of just doing what the instructions say and then my asian wife yelling at me how dumb i am i cant make rice. So i have learned but only in a rice cooker

    I only stove top Spanish rice and i can never get is as dry and fluffy as restaurants.

    its always like eating Chinese white rice with tomato sauce

    I used to stove top just cause that's how I learned but I had to switch to the rice cooker when I moved to the van so I could cook from the cigarette lighter. I also got the one with a steaming tray and it was a game changer.

    It was awesome for making what I called bachelor chow. Rice with steamed veggies/cheese/protein in the tray then dump it all together and mix it up. I probably ate that damn near every night for 2 years

    Always use a can of hurtz dice tomato. Idk if im not frying the rice enough before cooking or to much water. Just cant get it dry right
