Gasket for my exhaust supposed to be in town in a few hours.
for getting the flange apart without snapping those studs off. I'll put some heat on them too.

Might have enough fuel in the salamander to change the oil in a lawn mower.
20 min to heat the garage. 5 min to change the oil lol..
Told myself not to uncover the boat as this week is going to suck.
If the heat keeps going I’ll polish the chrome on the Harley.
Always something to do.

 

Easy fix.
Rotate tire 180°.
Then the flat part is on top.

 

Been working on this job for a month, this is the one I’ve been looking for. Last piece

 

Guy brought these in Thursday at 2:45, wanted the bushing pressed out so he can sandblast them and paint them. They are on an angle and there’s a flange on them. Told my boss how I would do it and left for the beach. He said we’ll see if we can get them out. They didn’t touch them, guy wanted to install them today

 

Should be easy?

 

Mmm that’s a lot of undercut.

 

Negative. There is no way to hold it cause the bushing part is welded on at an angle and the bushing flange is the same as the O.D. of the piece it's pressed into. I told them I would weld two legs on it, press the bushing out and cut the legs off. Guess that's what I'll have to do. They are brand new parts for a lift kit, customer wants to change the color.

 

Individually, I understand each of those words; put together, in that order, they make no sense whatsoever.

 

Hope you don’t fry them bushings.
He must be powder coating..
No way is it worth to do that for paint..

He is powdercoating them, this is another coater than the guy across the street. He said he thought about burning them out since they are in such a rush

 

Doing that will keep the visual. Air hammers are your friend lol
