    I've started to drill a little but needed a break and update my fine shop friends.
    @tirediron you give me another thought though; maybe if I can fit my C-press in there and push against a bolt from the broken side. Good idea.
    I might drill a little more first. Stuff is hard as the hubs of hell. :rofl:

    The side where the gasket wasn't blown out come loose just fine. Makes sense, that gasket must have been gone awhile and let corrosion do it's dirty deed.

    I'm half tempted to go get the gasket and make appointment with the one good shop in town.
    Be so nice to have a nice shop with a lift, good HVAC system, some music etc. This crawling around in and out underneath vehicles not so fun anymore.

    Well, going to give the drill and right angle attachment another go. The C-press doesn't fit. Fantastic idea though. I put a bolt through the broken side and hit it with my purse a few times. It's not solid enough to hit with much force and I seen a video where a guy had to repair the flange going to the head, it had a crack up there. I don't need a crack like that
