Vids that I saw, I thought Will actually clocked him, not just a slap. I wasn't following as to what he said that made Will get up and do that tho. One second, the camera shows Will laughing at Chris (Jada did not look happy at what Chris had said tho) and then suddenly he is getting up and slapping Chris. telling him to keep Jada's name outta his fucking mouth.

So much drama, it's hard to keep up!

Chris Rock is a bit of a dick. Funny but still a dick.

 

Wonder if he slapped the dude that wrote the joke too. I don't think Chris Rock was in the wrong, that roast was light hearted and they all know this is a normal part of these award ceremonies.

 

Dude it sounded like an all out clock to the face! Chris Rock was poking fun at will Smith (no problems there) but then was making fun of Jada and her shaving her head( due to alopecia ) by saying "Jada, I can't wait for GI Jane 2 to come out" that's when will had enough and got up to slap him and yell at Chris to keep his wife's name out of his mouth.

I eont usually care at all over celebrity shit but I guess I got a soft spot for husbands standing up for their wives in that way lol

Lol he should. Will has taken alot of shit in the public eye over his private affairs with his wife so I can understand why he finally had enough

Personally it's not okay to make fun of someone's medical condition until that person starts making fun it themselves. Then it's totally fair game

Can you imagine if it were anyone else (or some rando) that walked up onto the stage and did that? You'd get beat to shit by security and tossed in a jail cell so fast

speaking of celebrity drama, been watching that show on Hulu 'Pam and Tommy' about the release of the Pam/Tommy Lee sex tape back in the 90s. I had no idea the story behind that whole thing was so nefarious. I remember being just old enough (13 or so) when it was getting a ton of press and you could find it easily on Alta Vista lol. Of course actually getting it to download and play was another matter
