I've heard fluid film and cayenne pepper are good deterrents.

Where are your vehicles stored? I'd assess what nearby habitats they have otherwise they may just keep returning.

Water bucket trap works very well. I'd avoid poison because you cant control where they die or what predator consumes that poison.

 

What kind of rat trap is that??

 

I am almost to this point! But I absolutely hate cats

 

It’s like a furry force field they kill everything!!

 

I had barn cats outside they kept the field mice at bay I still got them spayed and neutered because I didn't want 100s of them things running around

 

Anybody selling a Tacoma or 4runner in the Columbia area?

 

They would definitely be spayed and neutered. My main worry is my kids trying to play with them and getting clawed and them walking on my vehicles.

The cars would be the biggest issue. From experience a barn cat as long as it isn't cornered will keep it's distance and only want attention when it does which is normally never.

 

If you sold the tacoma what would ya get......

 

Your dead on they will keep their distance but they are going to walk on everything spray pretty much everything! But they will kill anything smaller than themselves snakes included. We have the sanctuary for the rescue here and I pretty much walk where I want to at night with little worry. We see very few live snakes each year.

 

Fix them early enough and they won't spray everywhere.

 

Probably another Tacoma.
