Customer made a last-minute change to add a latch (to lock) so I just plug welded some. Kind of dumb really considering you need a wrench already to open it up.

Labor costs nothing for the LT crew, just need to come to me

Should make it hinged, with gas struts to aid in lifting the tabletop. That way you can collect scraps by tossing them into the center.

 

Those are cool too. I always wanted one of those when I was younger but they were too heavy to steal from the park. lol

 

I'm an adult and they're still too heavy

Cracks and I need some places to hook some tie downs too

He won’t even drive all the way here to do it though

 

Drill some relief holes at the end of those cracks to stop the continued cracking/tearing.

Little massaging and a couple of tacks, and that thing could easily get welded up.

 

Local guy wants $50/hr to do it, which is fine, just neeeda get it done I guess

Sucks I'm missing the "splash" guard underneath my LC cause that means I'm missing 2 bolts as well.

Seems I'm also missing a bolt on each side of the bumper brackets. That and one of the factory bolts I removed is somewhat fucked. I'll really need to replace all the hardware rather than reuse the factory stuff.

After work I'll go to the hardware store and pick up what I need so I can weld this badboy up on Wednesday...assuming the shop is emptied out.

 

What is this thing gonna look like when you are done? Which coastal bumper is it?
