Haven't bought it yet but seriously considering it. Looks like the best option is Flir's PathfindIR II. The install tutorial is actually putting it into a Tacoma. I'm a rock when it comes to electronics, so just trying to see what else is out there. Pickins are slim though, and I think the PathfindIR is being discontinued soon if not already.

I did the same thing, well didn’t even mount it. I just throw it in when I’m loading my bike and it doesn’t move at all. CAC2FA07-1DA2-4509-9B7F-8B35E4D37F07.jpg87A60318-921A-4888-B2B4-06BBFB92BCE2.jpg

First thing I tried. I suspect that the metal is tweaked a bit where the mounting bolt goes through. Debating whether it makes more sense to tear apart the interior to get to the bolt or if I should just mask off the area and hit it with some windshield glue.

My local hardware store, nor Home Depot, had any clamps, of any material, that would fit 4" ABS. Home Depot did have clamps that are used for stove pipe that might work but they seemed a little flimsy. I'm gonna check Lowes this weekend, and an actual plumbing supply store. Otherwise, I did find a couple potential options online.

I can attest to this. I pulled 1,400lbs of landscaping blocks on my 5x10 trailer all the way across (N to S) Massachusetts more than once in my 3. Not sure an automatic would've survived but the manual had no problems.

Yeah I've seen those and they're one of the options on my list. I really want to find something like these that will fit 4" ABS.
