was wondering the same... will you have issues if you put it on its side on a roof rack? long way of asking can a propane tank be stored on its side?

If you order there, get the 49 inch. It says doesn't fit, but it does. Not sure why it's saying that.

It comes with a long white wire that ran through the bumper and tapped into 12 volt power source. I cut into the tape, found the corresponding white wire, and tapped into it to run the reverse lights. It comes with 4 pin harness that will plug into the exterior.

Nice thinking’. I’m in a similar spot with the Softopper. I’m looking for something low profile, like a shallow T track to fasten the threw axle mount to. Your solution gives me some good food for thought.

Thanks Ron! I’ve only had it for 13 months, but it changes weekly. It’s a lot of fun and this group gives me great ideas. I keep refining the function and look.

 

It is endless! But this is a good group of enthusiasts with a lot to share and influence us with. This is also a great resource for the technical issues as well. Looks like you’re doing a good job with the Taco. That last pic is pretty cool, the paint looks like chrome!

I just got mine today and installed them. I didn't realize it was an issue until i saw multiple people talking about it. My light reset back to white whenever they are powered off and back on.
