    Stock-ish
Swapped in some 16" Carbon shocks in place of my 14" Fox's. Still need to play a little with the shock towers, bumps, and leaf pack a bit, but as of right now I'm cycling 14.5" of vertical travel. After I change my towers I should be able to gain another inch of uptravel, so will be sitting at a good 15-16" of travel all with some $60 junkyard leafs.

The issue I have, and what I've seen people previously talking about, is switching back and forth between red and white while they're on. It's very finnicky and rarely works as intended. So much so that I'm almost afraid to touch them because I'm not sure what's going to happen when I do.

If you ask me, they are of very poor quality and this has stopped me from considering any of Meso's other products.:crapstorm:

Question would a full size bike such as that fit in the bed laying down on its side with the front tire off, under a tonneu cover do you think?

Do the instructions say to disconnect the battery before installation and did you?
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/custom-led-map-and-dome-lights.521923/page-375#post-27115294
Did your pcb boards have the Meso label on them?
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/iso-meso-dual-color-dome-light.760112/#post-27114688
Mine come in Wednesday and I’m hoping a battery disconnect is a possible solution to avoiding this issue. If it’s a full fledged “bad batch” I hope there’s a DIY workaround that I’m capable of so I don’t have to send them back :(
Edit: Apparently this is how this updated batch with processors functiono_O
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/iso-meso-dual-color-dome-light.760112/page-2#post-27116722
This is a separate issue that has been reported across the site with this past batch that people started receiving this week.
Did you report your double click issue by opening a ticket on mesos site? He replaces products that don’t function properly IF you tell him instead of just whining on the forum...

My roadbike fits under a Diamondback cover without having to remove anything. I believe your handlebar is the issue, not the wheels. If the handlebar is no wider than 17 inches, you should have no problem.

Not what I’ve done, er maybe, but what I’m about to do really. I’ve got a general electrical question…. Why do I need a 1 amp diode with an aob switch? image.jpgTia

A diode is like a one way valve for electricity. To keep from back feeding something.

That’s what I turned up in my googling, but I was wondering if there is more to it than that.

Let’s just say I have some already wired, and no diode. But no problems. Knock on wood. I’m using Kyle’s piggyback harness but I don’t think that matters. It just seems strange and I guess I overlooked it.

Based on the diagram, it looks like it's a safety mechanism to prevent 12v+ from entering the relay from the wrong terminal. In a negatively switched setup, the switch is connecting the 12v+ to ground. If the switch connected to (85) were to malfunction it could send 12v+ into the relay and short it out (maybe, I'm not an electrical engineer). It could possibly blow not only the 12v+ main fuse going into the relay but also the fuse on the trigger line as well (86). With the positive switched setup it's not necessary since (85) is connected directly to ground. Just like a fuse, under normal circumstances it should never be necessary for the proper functioning of the system but when one thing gets messed up it is there to keep the angry pixies going in the right direction.

I see, you edited and hopefully will guide others to the other thread regarding the map light new issue/feature..

IMO..Seems like everyone has the same problem/feature.. bummer, I really like the permanent red function. I wished they would have added that on their site for the V2 "feature".. I would have thought twice purchasing.. but I would be happy to swap it for the V1!!
