Thanks Dave. My GF was playing nurse with some type of goop in a tub of hot water to loosen up the muscles, then she put on some ointment. It helped a bit, plus it was nice being pampered. Thankfully tomorrow is an orientation/paperwork day so I should be able to sit on me arse most of the day. I need to buy a new tool chest as I need to take my own tools there and my old Husky top box is just junk, it doesn't lock anymore and I don't think that it will survive being moved another time.

I saw snowflakes ( not the millennial type ) in Westminster.. I hope that they stay there, I'm done with this shit.

Contacted ECGS this morning and they are working with me.

My options are, send in my diff and leave the truck sit while they diag and rebuild it, hoping my factory LSD can still be salvaged after having metal all through it.

    or

Have them go ahead and build me a new one (longer wait on my end but less work), with same gearing, and an ARB air locker. Which would cost me probably $1200ish. Install it and then send mine back as a core.

I appreciate that. She’s definitely an odd ball at 8.4” and factory LSD

Hi all. Bilstein 5100s on sale at stage3motosports. About to make my purchase.

Any issues with these things set at the 4th notch with stock springs and a 1” block in the rear?

    *SOLD*

Greetings, I wanted to give my fellow Maryland peeps first dibs before I post these on the sell thread. I have two OEM lightly used headlights (from a 2.5 gen), zero hazing/yellowing. They’re in amazing condition. I bought these off a fellow Tacomaworld member and never installed them. I was able to score a pair of 2015 Pro headlights for 46% off and free shipping.

Here is the sellers original post in case your interested:
Just pulled these off of my truck today. They are as close to brand new as you’ll find, they are in dang near perfect condition, no yellowing or anything. Crystal clear. All tabs intact. Brand new Phillips Xtravision bulbs included. Great candidates for a retrofit or just a refresh!

$100.00 and they are yours! I’ll bump this here for a week and then they’re going on the buy/sell thread.

    What?

Oh, I forgot to put the "in my mind" part

Hey! My P80 paint job is hanging up in the garage. It looks better than I hoped. Right now is step 1, the base coats. Step 2 is applying the stencil. Step 3 is painting the 'inverse' colors over the stencil. Step 4, remove the stencil and apply a matte clear coat.

I never did get the glass breaker or cheek riser but I'm confident I could match it. I'm waiting a week for each paint step to allow it to cure better.

Depending on my mood, I may even distress it.

Then we're off to the mountains. :laser:

Well, I'm glad I bit my tongue and refrained from responding and earning a timeout as well. Back on topic......

Random question but how long do OEM shocks typically last before needing replaced? Approaching 100k on my '17 SR and wondering if I need to start shopping.

As always: “It depends”. How do you drive? Just driving around town your 5 YO truck is finally broken in. Are you leaking fluid? Is the ride bouncy? If no, I would be in no hurry. However, if you want something special start shopping, some boutique suspensions are back ordered a year.
