Does anyone have any experience with the 5625-20 3 1/2 HP router?

I am considering getting it for my router table (since Porter Cable no longer makes the 7518).

I've used other Milwaukee tools, but never one of their routers.

    Thanks.

I have the cordless M18 Milwaukee router, and am happy with it. Don't know how helpful that is to you, but I imagine the router you're referencing is just as great.

Jumped into the game last week, $499 from Home Depot. Seemed like a decent price to me.

Welcome to Team Red! I’d recommend grabbing some higher capacity batteries before you dive into any big jobs, those 1.5’s won’t take you very far.

Worth looking at other brands of batteries, or should I just stick with Milwaukee?

Nice kit. Impact and drill at brushless but not FUEL, but they should last a long time, the other tools look good for the kit price, nice score.
I don’t know what you’ll be using the tools for personal or professional, daily or monthly, but get a few more Milwaukee batteries for sure. There is a deal for battery two pack 3ah CP and 6Ah CP for $169 I think. Well worth it for the extra capacity and run time.

Thanks. Personal, general purpose type projects. Bought some land. Need shelter for the tractor. Some fencing, gates, etc. And yeah, I bought the battery set mentioned a couple of hours ago. Looking forward to putting the tool to work this week.

You are going to need more batteries!!!!:thumbsup:

I have a yellow 6 1/2" saw. I use it more than any saw around the house/property for all the 1x, 2x work. So light, yet powerful.

Yes, Northern tool has had that one at that price all year so far... I'm not sure if its out of manufacturing or what. I decided the Ryobi over this because I already have the battery platform and a bunch of 4ah batteries, and YouTube functional reviews showing the Ryobi beating a lot of the big $$ Yellow and Red ones.
